Wake Up America!
The Democratic National Convention has had many awesome speeches so far. Michelle Obama revealed her soft side, her maternal side...she was phenomenal. Ted Kennedy summoned up enormous strength and courage and moved many to tears.
But the one that seemed to me, who pumped up the crowd to the max so far has been the 'funny little man with the gorgeous wife' Dennis Kucinich. The Ohio Representative began his short (less than six minutes) speech much like any other speaker, but as he wound up he actually began to bounce!
Dennis was so energetic, passionate, brutally refreshing and held nothing back in pointing out the failings of the Bush administration and why we need to get out and vote this November.

Sara,
I'm glad I decided to visit your blog this morning! I had missed Dennis Kucinich's speech at the convention. I was one of the few who actually wanted him to be our next president. The passion for what is right, the brutal honestly. I love it! Apparently he's a little too honest for most people. Too bad. Thanks so much for posting it!
hey Michelle, thanks for stopping by. Dennis is fabulous. I think he is ahead of his time, so perhaps someday we will be ready for a prez like him (or even better...him!!)
The deadline in MI to register to vote is only about a month away...spread the word!
I also found out that only those who have voted at least once in the past can apply for an absentee ballot.
Don't worry, I always tell people to vote. Especially like thinkers. he he Thanks for the info about the absentee ballot!
